08350 Mechanical Hot Tapping Machine Complete Kit Fit for NPT 3/4" to 4" 300psi Piping Fitting and Valves, Commercial and Industrial Applications Widely Fitment -- Hot tapping machine kit works for piping, fittings and valves with NPT threads. Branch connections from 3/4" to 4" valve size on any appropriately sized mainline for most piping materials up to 300 psi. Product Parameters -- Valve Size: 3/4" to 4". Maximum Pressure: Chilled Water and Hot Water Systems 300 psi, Steam 15 psi. Maximum Operating Water Temperature: 250 degrees F. Pipe Materials: Mild Steel, Galvanized Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper, Brass, and Aluminum pipe. Watertight Seal Allows Drilling Under Pressure -- Eliminates the need to shut down, drain, cut, refit and refill piping systems. Hot tapping drills in the pipe wall by inserting fittings such as service saddles or thread-o-let, which allows safe tying into a pressurized system by drilling while the pipe is still in service. Note -- Not recommended for ammonia, gas or other caustic systems. Not recommended for use on plastic pipe. High Quality -- Constructed from high-grade steel with powder-coated.
