This is a new pipe cutter that was sold through Grainger. The box says it will handle 1/8 - 2" pipe. The cutter is stamped with 3/8 - 2-1/2". I assume the 1/8-2" is I.D. and the 3/8 - 2-1/2 is O.D. The cutter can't close to where the wheels are within 1/8" of each other. It's similar to the Ridgid #2 model.
