It is particularly effective on manganese dioxide, iron, and silica deposits. The SSTB is also effective on all types of obstructions, macrofouling and debris. Used for cleaning of straight condenser or heat exchanger tubes, the SSTB can also be used on tubes with inserts or epoxy coatings. The SSTB will restore the tube surface to its original heat transfer characteristics, while providing absolutely the best protection from under-deposit corrosion! Determination of Quantity: The Conco SSTB is good for cleaning 8-12 tubes each depending on the severity of deposits. Simply divide the total number of tubes to be cleaned by eight or twelve. To increase the overall speed of the job, or if planning to clean multiple units, increase the number of cleaners to be used to 25 or 50 percent of the total number of tubes to be cleaned.
